2:44pm and me and jett just got back from the park and McDonalds. He tried to talk his way out of a nap but is sleep on the office couch and fell asleep talking...

7:27 and its almost time for the plastic egg hunts! What happened to real eggs then making the kids eat them for easter! lol! I throw away bags of them every year. what a waste

7:06am and we got a lot of painting, websites and schoolwork going on! So thankful to be busy with paid work. God is good!

9:57am and its so hard dealing with angry people. They'll drain the good from you if you allow. I choose to terminate all communiction...

7:35am and basic website prices go to $500 in May. Get $300 professional websites while time lasts! EMAIL ME!

3:43pm and we are painting in double shifts at Dallas First United Methodist Church. Doing 5 walls at once!!! Stay tune for samples.

Free Grant Writing Seminars by 8 Robinsons

Its been a long week. I'm glad that the first FREE grant writing seminar is coming up tomorrow. Got all my materials ready and I find myself trying not to focus on other problems. Almost time for the 30,000 mile service on the car. I often miss having a car thats paid for. Dreaming of driving something nice and inexpensive like the 1999 Acura TL. The Acura TL have such a good reputation for being reliable cars. I'm driving a Hyundai now. I pray that they are good cars. It is a mini SUV and it helps to have room to lug art supplies around.

I do not trust most car repair shops with my vehicles. Maybe it is easier to find reliable services these days. With the internet you can simply search a location and find a list of local auto repair shops. Say I wanted to find shops in Houston, Texas and simply searched Houston Auto Repair. I would get a list of shops from A-Z of which I can choose the best option. Times are changing so quickly now. Even the kids are learning much faster that normal. We are in the midst of the information age. It is time for my oil change now. I wish it was as easy as going into my garage and changing the engine oil and filter. They say that you have to change the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles but I drive so much handling business that I would need oil changes every month and a half.

So now up up late working again. Printing material for the Grant Seminar and thinking about everything else besides the seminar. It is so hard to focus with distractions, but I've learned that any business owner learns how as time and experience teaches. Have to stop worrying about cars. At least I'm not replacing brake rotors and disc replacements. It took me a while to learn to change brake pads on my first car while on these newer models I barely know how to open the hood without peeking first.

I need to get back to work now. Need to stop worrying about cars and worry more about the Free Grant Seminar. I successfully change the company from a service oriented organization to a Brand Management and Consulting Firm. Now we have to build websites for each of out brands. I'm so excited about all the future potential.

Strange Things

All an eagle would really like, is a teapot.

6:42am and I have to clean the car that my wife was driving. We found a year old baked potato in a to-go box under the passenger seat. Had been thinking Niree's feet were stinking! lol! We laughed so hard!

8:37pm and my stomach is still hurting from a day out laughing with Jerald, Emmitt, Anthony and Niree. Niree was the youngest so he got clowned so bad! Forgot what it felt like to hang out!

5:59pm and Jett has the bright idea to call me D.A.D.D.Y. now. While I'm glad he can spell, he knows he is trying to pick a nerve with me! lol! I'm going to wrestle him.... be right back...
